(October 2021 – September 2022) VBNK organization organized “the Annual Reflection Workshop for Empowerment and Accountability II” project that received fund support from BfdW.
The project’s objectives are to enhance the level of local community engagement in the process of local and social development, and to improve the duty-bearers’ responses to the social and environmental needs of their communities in the target provinces of Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, and Stung Treng in 6 target districts and 12 communes covering 86 villages. Participants of the workshop include NGO partners such as AFD, COWS, NTFP, TDSP, YCC, and CAFDOC, and participation from District Investment Plan Officials, Commune Councils, and Community Leaders. The annual reflection workshop was conducted to review the achievements, identify the challenges and solutions, and set objectives and plans for the upcoming year.
