Mrs.Choub Chanthy

With over 25 years of dedicated experience, Mrs. Chanthy has been a driving force in fostering social development in Cambodia through her collaboration with local and international NGOs and communities. As a seasoned trainer, coach, and facilitator, she champions women’s leadership and soft skills development, while advocating for gender equality and social inclusion in all facets of project design, implementation, and evaluation. Her expertise extends to mobilizing diverse teams and designing comprehensive projects, accompanied by robust assessment and monitoring tools to ensure impactful outcomes. Chanthy’s contributions extend beyond project implementation; she has played a pivotal role in organizing conferences, forums, and workshops aimed at enhancing social accountability and empowering women and communities. Currently spearheading the 'Empowering Accountability Project,' she focuses on fostering transparent and accountable relationships between citizens, government representatives, and NGOs in addressing critical social development priorities. In her previous roles, including as Field Coordinator for sexual and reproductive health and Child Protection Coordinator, Chanthy demonstrated her commitment to capacity development by supporting commune, district, and provincial duty bearers. Her efforts included conducting needs assessments, delivering tailored training, and fostering sustainable capacity development initiatives across various stakeholders. Through active engagement with government departments, she ensured the integration and monitoring of crucial issues related to women's rights and empowerment.
