Our Partners and Achievements

Topic: Membership Database Management

Name: Mr. Tuon Saren, Treasury General

Mr. Tuon Saren is Treasury General, he has been working with the union since June 2011. He regularly participated in capacity development interventions from VBNK. He is the key person who is responsible for membership database management with support from ExCom members.

Based on the result of the capacity assessment, one of the other issues identified was the membership database which was not yet fully functioning to manage the members from all local union members and individual members under the union. There were a few reasons related to this issue.  The union's staff has limited knowledge of database development and usage. There was no clear roles and responsibility of a particular staff member to responsible for this membership database management including collecting and entering data of members properly into the system.
