Chhay has a Master Degree of Business Administration degree from Germany. He has over 20 years of professional experience in facilitating learning and OD, working with a wide range of development organisations (local, international). He is capable in employing holistic approaches to capacity development as well as many OD tools. He is good at adapting, customizing, and simplifying concepts and tools to the Cambodian context, and is able to work in a multi-cultural setting. Chhay has been working as a freelance consultant for almost 10 years. Prior to that he worked for 11 years as full-time staff with three organisations including 7 years with VBNK, a leading capacity development organisation in Cambodia.

Thavy holds a Master of Public Administration degree. He is a capacity development and evaluation professional with 15 years of experience in the social and economic development sectors with government in the SEILA Programme and NCDD-S, civil society organisations such as VBNK, and several projects funded by GIZ, USAID, EU, and ADB. He has worked with senior and middle level government officials, NGO managers and local communities to strengthen individuals, organisations and grass roots community groups. His work has covered issues such as local governance, democratic development, social accountability, child protection, livelihood development and capacity development to. He undertook roles as a senior trainer-facilitator and project manager. Currently he is a freelance consultant conducting trainings and project evaluation for civil society organisations and the government’s development programme.
Financial Management and System Specialist
Sim holds a Master of General Management degree. She has expertise in financial management, assessment, auditing, policy development and financial system capacity development. She has over 17 years of professional experience with many NGOs and some government projects in Cambodia. She has gained extensive experience of governing boards and has also served as a Working Group member to support the Finance Forums of CCC. Currently she is a financial consultant for South-East Asia Development Program (SADP) and financial management/accounting specialist of an ADB project with Ministry of Industry and Handicraft.
Organisational Development Specialist
Bunrithy holds a Master of Development Studies degree. He has 16 years experience working with government ministries, national and international NGOs. He has specialized skills in base-line and end-line survey, monitoring and evaluation, Outcome and Impact Orientation, natural resources and environmental management, community development, project and program design, strategy development, proposal writing and reporting. He has coordinated and participated in many project and program development processes, and evaluations for many donor agencies such as UNICEF, USAID, DANIDA, OXFAM, EU, and the BMZ.
Chenda holds a Master of Social Science and Development Studies degree. She has more than 16 years experience working in productive social interaction with local and foreign stakeholders. She has experience in program and project management, and other roles with various organisations. She has more than 6 year experience working to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment at all levels in Cambodia. She has been an independent consultant for almost 2 years, working in gender related issues, especially gender in the context of local democratic reform.
Leadership and Effective Communication Specialist
Sothearat holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and Counseling degree. He has more than seventeen years experience in the social development sector in Cambodia. During his 8 years at VBNK he served in the position of Team Leader. His assignments included training needs assessment, curriculum design, managing and facilitating workshops, conferences and various capacity building interventions. He contributed to the design and delivery of many of VBNK’s leadership development initiatives. He is well recognized for using a ‘Whole Person Learning and Creative Process’ methodology as the foundation for behaviour change interventions. Sothearat now works as a freelance consultant.

Thol holds a Master of Education Management degree from the Philippines. His work experience spans multiple civil society, government, and donor organisations across Cambodia. His practical experience has been gained from his full-time employment as a manager with Cambodian NGOs, international NGOs, and bilateral and multilateral agencies. Thol is well known for his approach using systems thinking, improvisation, learning facilitation, core values such as integrity, a results orientation and working with people.

He is an organisational learning and development consultant, facilitator and coach, with more than twenty-five years of experience in capacity development, governance and accountability, and organisational learning. His work has been in both the public and civil society sector. He facilitates multi-stakeholder approaches that engage individuals to uncover solutions to their challenges and guide organisations towards realisation of desired visions for change. In his work Arthur puts emphasis on a consultative process, and individual and group coaching.
