Conflict Resolution Procedure for Trade Union

Independent Trade Union Federation (INTUFE) is one of the VBNK partners in the Labor Rights project funded by the Solidarity Center. The Federation established in 2015 and registered on 16 March 2018. On 20 April 2021, INTUFE had online coaching meeting with VBNK consultant to discuss and review the Conflict Resolution Procedure. Its purpose is to discuss how to prevent and dealt with any internal conflict occur within the federation and the local unions.

With the fruitful contribution of Independent Trade Union Federation staff and president, they agreed to formulate a conflict resolution procedures for solving the conflict fairly in their institution and the local member unions. The conflict resolution procedures will be followed the key contents as below:

1-           Objectives and scope

2-           Principles of the procedures

3-           Unofficial procedures

4-           Official procedures

5-           Appealing procedures

Through this coaching meeting we learnt that Independent Trade Union Federation really needs the procedures to protect the unhappiness, problems or conflicts occurring within the Federation staff and executive committee members and the local unions leaders.
