VBNK is a Cambodian learning organisation at the forefront of capacity development. VBNK works with a wide range of civil society, public and private sector organisations so that they can contribute more effectively to the social development sector.
VBNK is currently seeking a Cambodian national for the position of Trainer/Facilitator to work in a team to deliver training and facilitation services to staff from the NGO and Government sectors. The position will be based in Phnom Penh but may require travel to the provinces.
Contract Type: initially one-year fixed-term with possible extension
Work experience and background:
- Cambodian national with at least 5 years practical experience providing training and facilitation services
- Able to assess client needs and design and deliver appropriate training response
- Able to provide follow up to trainees to assist them to learn from their experience
- Relevant University degree – Masters degree preferred
Key competencies:
- Able to be flexible and to think on her/his feet
- Powerful communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong understanding of and commitment to gender equity, values and ethics
- Open to learning from others and trying out new approaches and methodologies
Preference will be given women candidates.
