Data analysis is a process of cleaning, organizing to provide useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making for project implementation. Data analysis is important in project monitoring assess the progress made and to understand problems encountered during the implementation. Data in itself is merely facts and figures. It turns data into information that the project teams can use. Analysis is done using systematic methods to look for trends, groupings, or other relationships between different types of data.
Data analysis can provide a snapshot of what the management and stakeholders should know about the project and what can be done further to achieve the objectives. With appropriate analysis and interpretation of data, management can make informed decisions that positively affect the project outcomes.
VBNK conducted coaching session on data analysis and report writing with KAWP on 23-24 February at KAWP office in Battambang province. This session was part of the consultancy support service to BfdW partners in Cambodia.
