VBNK is an established NGO offering training, organisation development and facilitation services to the social development sector in Cambodia, while at the same time developing Cambodian capacity to deliver these services.

VBNK is currently seeking a Cambodian national for the following position.

Information Technology (IT) Officer -one position

Main responsibilities

• Maintain network and mail server
• Data security and management
• Provide technical support and trouble shoot IT problems
• Maintain and update the VBNK website
• Assist in staff computer training
• Maintenance and installation of hardware and software
• Provide management with IT strategy advice

Requirements and qualifications

• University Degree in IT or an IT related area
• Work experience as network administrator
• Good English language skills
• Familiarity and understanding of mail servers similar to MDaemon, and internet gateways
• Excellent understanding of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook 2007 and MS Internet explorer
• Excellent with Backup procedur using Tape backup
• Willingness to follow VBNK gender, ethics and values policies.
• Willingness to work overtime or outside normal office hours should major network problems occur.
